July 25th 2011 - July 25th 2012
The project is implemented in Romania, Serbia and Hungary and it consists in organizing different types of mutual learning events and exchanges of information and practices in the above mention field.
Besides the main activities of the project (6 cross-border experience exchanges and 1 international conference), the project also includes publishing one book addressed to practitioners and one Conference Proceedings, addressed to academics.
The sectors addressed by the project (regarding young people employment opportunities) are: education, employment, social inclusion.
1. Increasing the knowledge and experience of relevant actors in youth employment, by developing and implementing a series of 6 experience exchanges between 30 public authorities and institutions and 30 civil society organizations from the DKMT Euro-region, that work for improving youth employment opportunities. 20 representatives of public authorities/institutions and of civil society organizations from each country will participate in the exchanges. Each experience exchange will consist in: 1 seminar, 1 round table and 1 study visit.
2. Generating sustainability of the mutual learning initiative in social inclusion and employment actions not only for DKMT region, but also for countries all around the world, by organizing a first edition of an international conference focused on social inclusion and equal opportunities that will gather academics and practitioners from the DKMT Euro-Region and will offer them the opportunity to confront their work and create lucrative networks in the area.
On a long term, the project is targeting the young people from Romania, Serbia and Hungary, in terms of improvement of policies, programs and methodologies addressed to their professional and social insertion.
