The budget of the project:
Investing in your future! Romania-Serbia IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme is financed by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) and co-financed by the partner states in the programme.
- 170,354.45 EUR is financed by IPA;
- 16,043.58 EUR Romanian State Budget co-financing from Romanian Partner budget
- 4,213.47 EUR Romanian Partner own contribution
- 9,805.50 EUR Serbian Partner own contribution
General objective:
Improve the quality of life for the populations from Timis County and Ada Municipality, by increasing social solidarity in the border region.
Specific Objective:
- Increase the knowledge and social skills of ethnic minorities and socially and economically disadvantaged groups in the border area.

- Improve the perception of the general population in the border area about cultural and ethnic diversity, social solidarity and anti-discriminatory practices.
Target groups:
Socially and economically disadvantaged families with children, from the border area in Romania and Serbia/ Individuals belonging to the disadvantaged ethnic minorities (especially rroma people) in Romania and Serbia
- 40 participants in Romania;
- 80 participants in Serbia.

- 100 children participating in the educational sessions (40 of them participate to the photo album and 30 children and 6 teachers to the camp, as well).
Representatives of NGO’s and institutions that work with ethnic minorities and disadvantaged categories in Romania and Serbia.
- 16 representatives in Romania and 16 representatives in serbia at two common work-shops in Romania and two common work-shops in Serbia;
- 32 participants at 2 group visits to the Public Institutions in Serbia;
Public servants (employees of Public Institutions) in Serbia
- 40 participants at 4 work-shops for public servants in Serbia
Result indicators:
1.Increased social and cultural integration of people in the border areas:294 of participants benefiting from cross-border social and cultural events (162 in Romania and 132 in Republic of Serbia)
- 40 participants at the educational sessions for the disadvantaged groups in the border area from 3 rural communities in Romania;
- 80 participants at the informative sessions (32 of the participate also to the visits to the Public Institutions from Serbia);
- 40 participants at the work-shops for public servants in Serbia;
- 100 children participating to the educational sessions from 3 rural communities in Romania (40 of them participate to the photo album and 30 to the camp, as well);
- 6 teachers participating to the camp in Romania;
- 32 participants at the work-shops for NGO’s and Public institutions (16 representatives in Romania and 16 representatives in serbia)
Improved quality of life and increased attractiveness of the border communities as a living place:
- 6 types of activities /35 activities designed to improve the other local living conditions in Romania
- 6 types of activities /16 activities designed to improve the other local living conditions in Serbia ;
Types of activities and their count:
1. educational sessions for vulnerable groups – 12 (in Romania);
2. informative sessions for vulnerable groups – 6 (in Serbia);
3. educational sessions for school children – 18 (in Romania);
4. work-shops with the public servants – 4 (in Serbia);
5. Anti-discrimination photo album – 1 (in Romania);
6. Handbook of rights for disadvantaged – 1 (in Serbia);
7. Anti-discrimination camp – 1 (in Romania);
8. Group visits to Public Institutions – 2 (in Serbia);
9. Common work-shops for the representatives of the NGO’s and public institutions – 4 (2 Romania and 2 in Serbia);)
10. Common Cross-border Strategy for Anti-Discrimination – 1
3. Project dissemination activities in Romania
- 2 press-conferences and 3 press-releases during the project;
- disseminating promotional materials during the implementation, flyers (1000 copies)and posters (100 copies);
- during the entire period of the project implementation, information about the project (objective, financers, activities, target-groups) will be posted on the web-site of the lead-applicant (www.bethany.ro) and updated at periodically.
4. Project dissemination activities in Serbia
- 2 press-conferences, 3 press-releases and 2 local TV appearences during the project;
- disseminating promotional materials during the implementation, flyers (300 copies) and posters (20 copies);
- during the entire period of the project implementation, information about the project will be posted on the web-site of the partner (nvoduga.org.rs) and updated periodically.
